Bath & Body | L’Occitane Rebalancing Ritual Collection
As I sit down to put together this blog post I am completely and utterly zenned. Let me explain. This evening, I wanted to get back on top of my blog. Ridiculously behind, with a stack of samples and new products gathering dust, I got home from work and began the task of making my way through the pile. A dozen or so photo sets later and a plate of cheesy beans on toast (don’t judge) I decided I needed some me time – a bath.
And so me, myself and I, and the new L’Occitane Rebalancing Ritual Collection made our way to my bathroom. I placed one of the Bath Infusions around the tap, and allowed the hot, steamy water to flow. These look like cute little tea bags, containing dried lemon peel and a unique blend of essential oils.
I lit a candle and then got myself comfy below the water. Intrigued by the Rebalancing Black Soap, I took to playing with this first. Not a traditional soap by any means, and with a slight jelly texture, this olive oil based soap paste is designed to clean the skin and remove all impurities, I love how silky smooth and clean my skin felt as I washed this away.
I couldn’t help but also try out a little of the Rebalancing Exfoliating Shower Gel too, even though I had told myself to wait until morning…nevertheless, a little goes a long way and this smells absolutely divine.
To finish off, I applied my Rebalancing Face Mask, knowing my skin would soon receive the benefits of the vegetal and mineral powders, and of course the essential oils. I love this only needs five minutes to work it’s magic before being removed with a hot flannel.
And so here I am, sat in my pyjamas, sipping on a peppermint tea, feeling thoroughly refreshed and ready for bed. I love that this line takes into consideration that our body and skin are exposed to stress and pollution, there is nothing better then feeling completely renewed and a good bath can do exactly that. Thank you L’Occitane.
