A little while ago I was sent an intriguing white box, all wrapped in a beautiful pink bow. It was my #BootsBeautyBox. Inside contained Boots own products suitable for a full facial skincare beauty regime. I review lots of brands, but very rarely do I stray from my favourites that are a staple in my skincare routine. I thought it would be a refreshing change to genuinely try out what Boots have to offer.
Boots are a family known name, you can find their stores all across the UK. I find I can never walk into a store and just leave with the one item that I actually went into buy. Boots does that to you. There are so many brands and offers, it is rude to not spend time in any one of their stores.
I had absolutely no idea that a lot of Boots own brands, such as Boots Essentials, Botanics, Time Delay and Simply Sensitive all began here in the UK, in Nottingham.  That is pretty awesome!
So what is inside my #BootsBeautyBox?
Cleansing wipes, of course. These are a staple for many a person’s skincare routine. For me personally, I never use them in my own ritual. The only occasion I tend to use wipes is when I want to quickly freshen up after the gym, or I throw them in my professional make-up kit – they are always handy to carry in case a model’s skin needs to be prepared. Botanics Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution All Bright was also inside the pink tissue. I always use Micellar water, this tends to be how I remove my make-up before beginning my cleansing routine. You can never have enough bottles of this stuff, and Botanics have a really nice formula that feels not only gentle, but soothing on the skin. Also from Botanics is an eye cream. Eye creams are a must for me, I actually panic when I cannot find one, as silly as that sounds. I am so paranoid about wrinkles. This one is really light and hydating
A range I had no idea Boots did, is the Skin Clear range, I was given a Rapid Action Spot Gel. Now, I am thankfully lucky enough to not suffer badly from blemishes but during those hormonal weeks, if a real alien appears on my face, then I know I could try this.
The 3 Minute Clay Mask is lovely, containing Cucumber it smells really fresh. I must admit, this is not a mask I would usually pick up. However, my skin felt really clean and revived after using this product. For someone who may not have used a mask before in their skincare routine, someone on a budget, this is one that I would recommend as it is easy to get hold of and great value for money. Can you believe it is only £1.50????
The only product that I would not use, and this is just my personal preference, is the Tea Tree Witch Hazel Deep Cleansing Facial Scrub. I do not use anything that contains micro beads and never will. I did not try this product so I could not recommend it, as always I remain honest on my blog. For those of you who do like to use a facial scrub in your routine, tea tree, witch hazel and charcoal are all great ingredients for someone who wants to unblock pores and fight any spot causing bacteria.
Overall? I can hardly believe Boots have so many products, from themselves, on offer. I always think of Boots to stock a zillion brands, but in the past have over looked what they have to offer from the brand itself. I am really happy with the Botanics products, and without realising I actually already have a few other skincare products from this brand in my kit.

Right now, it is 3 for £3 on selected Boots Essentials products – including that 3 Minute Clay Mask. A good time to take advantage and stock up for your full facial skincare beauty regime.
