I cannot believe I have not talked about The Melt Crowd by Flamingo Candles* before now? I took these photographs, of my June box, a wee while ago now and I already have my second box, the July one sat waiting to be used. Before I get really stuck into telling you all about these fancy scent melts, I would just like to stress: This is a scent subscription sensation. 

I love candles. That is a no brainer. I mean, who doesn’t? You want your home, your office, your man shed to smell nice, yes? I have candles, like, everywhere. One thing I have not tried before however is a wax burner. My mum has a few of them dotted around the house, places such as next to the kitchen sink and beside the fireplace. You can pop them practically anywhere.

The idea of The Melt Crowd subscription service is to introduce you to new and exciting scents and remind you of your old favourites. Every month expect a delivery of 8 fun, brightly wrapped scent melts, for just £10. Absolutely crazy value for money right there – they are worth nearly £20 if bought individually. 

If like me, you are new to wax burners, don’t worry, you get one for free when you first sign up. These guys have you covered. 

Don’t expect the norm’ with Flamingo Candles, as the fragrances come in a variety of mental flavours, such as Thai Lime & Mango and Freshly Mown Grass. Without even lifting the lid you can smell just how awesome the melts are. How long do they last? Freakin’ forever. I am not even kidding you when I say I am still waiting on my Daisy melt to completely vanish. I kinda want it to hurry up now so I can experiment with the others in my box. The burn time is around 30 hours – more than some expensive candles!

Top tip? Invest in some decent tea lights that do not burn out after like two seconds. Once you have done this, and your box is ordered, you are good to go. 

Would I recommend this as a gift? Yup yup. I know so many of my friends and family would appreciate something like this. 

I am looking forward to testing out the July scents including Pink Lemonade, Raspberry and Salted Caramel, oh  and Green Tomato Leaf.
