Love Me Beauty Box | May 2015 Edition
Hello Lovelies.
I have been pretty quiet on the blogging and social media front recently. I haven’t written a post for over a week now, nearly a fortnight in fact. Sometimes you just need a little break you know? It was all getting on top of me, but now I am back in business. I am actually writing this whilst in Mallorca, unfortunately it is pretty cloudy today so I thought I would be productive and spend the day editing and scheduling posts.
It has been a while since I have talked about the Love Me Beauty Box, you can see my past reviews here. The May Edition had some perfect offerings for my holiday so I just had to pack it in my suitcase.
If you are new to the Love Me Beauty Box, let me quickly explain the concept. You head on over to the Love Me Beauty website, create a profile and from this profile your “Beauty Boutique” is personalised to your preferences. For just £10 you can pick exactly what you want from the Menu, so you know what you are going to receive in your box – with most beauty boxes, the contents arrive as a surprise, so this is a really unique concept.
I absolutely love the Malin & Goetz Grapefruit cleanser, and having it in a travel size has been great for my holiday. It is really refreshing and is fab for your morning time cleanse. I haven’t really tried much Model Co make-up before now, and I was really impressed with the Lip Lacquer, an intensely pigmented liquid lipstick in the shade Viva, similar to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. The Model Co Cheek and Lip Tint Creme Rouge is such a pretty shade, and so ideal for Spring and Summer. I rarely wear a base when I am abroad, so a touch of concealer and a pop of cream blusher is all I really need. The Nails Inc nail polish Bruton Lane is a stunning shade of coral. On my toes I like to wear something bright, but on my fingers, I would wear this muted pastel shade of coral during my holiday. I am yet to try the mascara, this is from a brand I have never before heard of, Mirenesse. I find travel size mascaras are always good to have as you can throw them in your hand luggage.
