I literally love showering at the moment, so much so,  I actually get excited to clean my bits. That sentence sounds completely wrong. Let me start this again. I am enjoying a bunch of new products from Le Couvent Des Minimes, the Sparkling Love Collection, as of which my showering experience, has become a joy. There we go, that’s better.
Soap, is one product that I never, ever buy. When I lived in Mallorca, my boyfriend’s business partner, Mike, always used soap and always left it in the shower to go soggy – one that he never ruddy cleaned might I add, yes Mike I am looking at you. So this experience, kinda scarred me for life on the entire soap front. Then the LCDM Soap Bar came along. With a beautiful citrus scent, Cologne of Love, it opened up my eyes to an entire new level of cleaning. I shalt never not wash thy self without a bar of soap going forth. I feel so squeaky clean, literally squeaky, and smell amazing, and, the best bit, my skin is not dried out.
Used in combination with the Exfoliation Shower Gel, and your skin is practically singing to you. I have been using these products for ages now. I am actually super, duper late on writing up this review, like I am talking over a month here guys, anyway, this shower gel does not seem to want to run out. I loooove it.
At this point, I probably should point out that when I first received this set, I was panicking a little, as I really do not like the smell of orange in body care. It is just not my go to flavour you know? Saying this, having used this for a few weeks, I really have grown to love the citrus fragrance. It is not over powering or too marmalade like. I have a fear of marmalade. I do draw the line at using the moisturiser at the same time though, I have not braved layering up that much oraaaange.
The handcream as always with LCDM formulas, is rich, but not oily. It softens my hands and keeps them in great condition. I have about four or five handcreams in rotation at any one time as my hands get so dry, and this one is one of my favourites.
With Mother’s Day around the corner this could be a great treat, all of these products for just £20.
