Laura Mercier Primer
Product Review: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in Radiance ( NEW)

Laura Mercier Radiance Primer Make-up Swatch
Cheeky swatch 🙂

Applied on myself – primer only (ok … and an eyebrow pencil)

My skin more often than not, is a nightmare, I rarely feel confident going out of the house with no make up on (let alone post pictures with no mascara on… eek) Nevertheless thanks to Dermalogica (click to see my post about how this skincare range has helped me) my skin is now much clearer, I haven’t suffered from a breakout and my uneven skin tone is settling down. Yayyy !!
Recently going brunette and being very fair, I felt I needed to add some radiance to my new clearer skin (I also felt like a trip to the sun bed would help, which is why you can see pigmentation marks on the image of me above).
Laura Mercier is a fantastic make up brand and is renown for helping ladies achieve flawless skin. Her primers are world famous, having a few of them in my make-up kit myself, I know they really do help your make up last all day long and are essential to any girls make up bag. I heard about the new Radiance primer she had brought out, so I purchased some to try out for myself.
As you can see from the picture where I am wearing it, it really gives the skin a dewy glow. Now some of you may be put of this, especially if you have oily or skin prone to shine, but personally I really like it. My skin type is combination and I tend to get shiny as the day goes on, but I stop this from happening by using a mattifying translucent powder on top. I always use an oil free moisturiser too. The glow this primer gives is really healthy and does not look greasy at all. I was very happy with the result.
I am only wearing the primer in the image above, now if I were to put a tinted moisturiser on or just concealer I would be very happy to wear this day to day as my base. I always need a little bit of coverage which primers do not offer so would not feel confident to wear it alone.

Overall I was very pleased with this and would definitely recommend it to others to try.
