Over flowing beauty product baskets and boxes sought a little attention from me last week. I had a little sort out, and in doing so, fell upon a little collection of beauty samples. I forgot just how many I had been hoarding, and thought I would pick out a few that caught my eye – a few turned into more than a handful so bare with me.
Samples are great for travelling, whether they are in little tiny bottles or sachets, I love them all and will keep them until the time comes when I can use them up. I used to throw all my samples away, especially the ones you get in magazines. How times change?
Lancome Advanced Genifique Serum, such a cute miniature sample, and one that I will hold onto. In the past I have been given (not via my blog my I just point out) bottles of this serum and automatically just passed them onto my mum. She loved the stuff, and now I want to try it out for myself.
I totally forgot about this sample of the Dermalogica PreCleanse. I used to be obsessed with this oil and bought bottle after bottle of it. I stopped using it when I started moving over to more natural skincare, but I cannot fault how great a product it is and will be glad to have this in my stash ready for travelling.
Sisley is a brand I would love to spend money on, but my goodness it is expensive. Another sample I did not realise I had, is this, the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, a cult favourite apparently. At £100 I shall expect ruddy good results from this mask!
The mini Caudalie Polyphenol Anti-wrinkle Defense serum is in an adorable bottle, as is the YLS Youth Liberator Serum.
I popped into SpaceNK over the weekend and caught up with my old manager which was lovely. She kindly gave me lots of samples such as the Elemental Herbology Facial Glow peel and Lancer Cleanse and Polish.
Do you guys ever shop your sample stash? If so, what do you save them up for?
