Two of my awesome bloggy friends have set off on their travels: Megan from Wonderful You and Hayley from Frock Me I’m Famous.
As a result, I am now suffering from a serious case of wanderlust. Every single day I scour Pinterest adding pins to all of my boards: Wanderlust, Into The Blue and I Want To Travel. The urge to hand in my notice at work before grabbing my passport and jetting off into the unknown is crazy and almost overwhelming at times.
I was not one to take a gap year before university to go travelling, and even though I have been lucky enough to live in both Ibiza and Mallorca for months, even years at a time, there is so, SO much more of the world I want to see.
The dream for me and my blog would be to travel the world, discovering new cultures and how they have an effect on the beauty industry. I love learning about beauty rituals and ingredients and discovering where they sprang from.
I also just love the ocean. Being by the beach automatically calms me and I know that some day I will live by the sea, it is all I ever dream of.
I spend more time reading travel blogs such as Hand Luggage Only and Twenty Something Travel than I do that of fashion or life style. I have endless lists of tourist attractions, secret beaches and famous landmarks that I must see.
So how do I take the plunge? Where do I get started?
Both the girls, Megs and Hayley, were brave and bold and booked their trips of a lifetime. I want to make my move, I just don’t know how or when.
Brazil, Fiji, New York, New Zealand, L.A, Miami, Hawaii, San Francisco, Iceland, Rome, Barcelona and more and more, and more.
Once my bank account is a little healthier, hopefully in a few months time, I have a feeling nothing will stop me. Nothing.
