Darphin, a botanical based skincare line, reminds me of my
good ole days working at SpaceNK. Oh how I miss the staff discount. This
Parisian brand would be homed in between the natural skincare and the savvy
high tech ranges, oh, Darphin, always looked ever so luxurious and inviting.
Offering products packed with high performance plant based formulas with
gorgeous aromas to boot, this brand has always been one I reach for when I want
to pamper the skin and revitalise my complexion. With everything from oils,
scrubs, and emulsions to eye creams and cleansing water, you can find everything
you need for an at home spa treatment.

Look Fantastic kindly invited me to take part in a Google
Hangout
with Darphin, exciting I know, and thus organised a package of
beautiful products for me to indulge in. As my skin type is dehydrated with a
tendency to break out and become oily, all of these products have been tailored
to my personal concerns. There are many different products available for a
variety of skin types but this selection here is ideal for you if you have a
similar concern to that of myself.

I have always been a huge fan of the Hydraskin range and
find it particularly good for this time of year, what with the ever changing
weather having a serious effect on my skin. The Hydraskin serum has the most
beautiful texture, and is super lightweight but intensely hydrating, leaving it
guarded against dehydration. I tend to wear this alone without the need for
moisturiser in a morning, but of an evening I will pop on the Hydraskin Light
Moisturising Cream Gel
as well. Oh my, this just smells wonderful and feels so
refreshing on the skin. It soothes and replenishes dehydrated skin and is the
right texture so will not add to my oiliness or clog any pores. I have only
been using these in conjunction over the last few days and my skin already
seems fresher, carrying a little glow.

The one product I was excited to use, having never tried it
before was the Age Defying Dermabrasion. I used this this morning and I was
really impressed. The pearly exfoliant is creamy but also hard working, you can
really feel the scrub on your skin. I love the little “spoon” you get to scoop
out the treatment. It wasn’t during using this, but after, that I really felt
the effects. I could literally feel my blood rushing to the surface, and
instantly it felt so much smoother and plumper. I keep stroking my face in
appreciation.
The Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water is just dreamy and again
smells so lovely. I have used this before and I am so glad I have been
reintroduced to it. It removes everything, face, eyes and lips. So handy when
you want to freshen your face in the morning too! I am yet to try the Hydrating
Kiwi mask
but I have no doubt that I will fall in love with it.

Onto the star of the show, new launch Revitalizing Oil for
Face, Body and Hair
, this bad boy is my new favourite. IT SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN
AND UNICORNS AND CAKE AND ALL OF YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS. It doesn’t smell of
unicorns, it actually is a blend of 9 essential oils and 4 plant oils and you
need the tiniest amount. I applied some to my hair last night and woke up to
super shiny, healthy looking locks. Okay, I added far too much but still my hair looked glossy, not oily. Note to self, tiny tiny amounts. Designed to nourish and hydrate you from head to toe,
this will be a great one for the winter months.
Join me, tomorrow at 12pm, where you can listen in to the Look Fantastic #AskDarphin Google Hangout. We will be discussing general skin concerns whilst discovering ways of tackling these problems with the help of Darphin. I am super excited and cannot wait to take part, if you have any questions yourselves let me know either via Twitter or in the comments below. Click here to take part. See you tomorrow!
