Soap and Glory Bright and Bubbly Gift Set 2013 Review

For the umpteenth time, I seriously need to invest in some form of lighting. I took these pictures on a beautiful sunny day, and with each click of the camera, a humongous grey cloud stormed in, and rudely ruined the set. I tried my best in Photoshop to make them look as pretty as can be guys! I decided to run with these pictures, rather than redoing them, as I think they break up my usual sunny photographs and have a bit of character to them. I definitely miss the sunshine of Mallorca for taking beautiful pictures though.
Soap and Glory kindly sent me this gorgeous Bright and Bubbly Fruitigo Gift Set to try out so I thought I would do a little review. What with Christmas just around the corner (scary huh?) it’s that time of year we all start thinking about what presents to get, and something like this gift set would be great to give to someone. As always, the fragrance of all of these products is unreal, and the
packaging typically adorable. I love the monochrome box these miniatures
come in, when I finish up these treats I will keep the box to store
little knic knacs in.
So what do you get? For just £10 you open up the box to see four mini sizes of Soap and Glory classics: Foam Call, Endless Glove, Pulp Friction and Butter Yourself plus a body polisher.
Foam Call can be used in either the shower or the bath, it’s a yummy smelling body wash, containing peppermint oils, grape seed and orange water. My skin feels super soft after using this, I have to hide it from my mum so that she doesn’t pinch it. Pulp Friction is their best-selling body scrub, and is great for this time of year. We need to take extra care of our skin in the colder months, I love running a nice hot bath and pampering myself with this. After exfoliating I will use the Butter Yourself body cream, which is such a fabulous product. Using these two together makes my skin smell unreal. The body cream is a really nice consistency, not too gloopy or thick, perfect for dry skin. Endless Glove is a handcream which can be worn as an overnight treatment mask with cotton gloves. I don’t really suffer from dry or cracked hands but gave this my mum who does, and she adores it. Just the right size to throw into your handbag.
There are lots of other sets to get your hands on, I really like the look of I’m Your Manicure, a great gift for anyone who loves their nails. This will be a stocking filler for my little sister for sure. I really want to get The Yule Monty Gift Set too! Every year Soap and Glory put together a £60 gift set, which is ridiculous value for money, and for the last two years I have tried to get it and it’s been sold out. I won’t be leaving my Christmas shopping as late this year… she says having done ZERO up to now.
What’s your must-have Soap and Glory product? Will you be asking Santa for it this year?
