Melt Candles | A Review

The packaging for a Handmade luxury scented candle from Melt
Hello!

Apologies for my lack of posts of late guys! I have been ridiculously busy, between spending time at home in the UK with my family and friends to flying back to Mallorca to work, I have struggled to find time to sit down and blog.

Nevertheless, I am getting back into the swing of things and today I have something a little different to show you. I was recently sent one of the gorgeous handmade scented candles by Melt* to review.

Lit Melt Luxury Glass candle

I absolutely adore candles so could not wait to receive this. Melt have a wide range of beautiful scented candles in a variety of all shapes and sizes. With over 30 shades to choose from, I am so glad I did not have to pick mine as I would never have been able to decide. My candle fragrance is Joy.
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched. They must be felt with the heart. Joy is the happiness within.”
Joy, is described as a sparkling citrus floral scent, on a complex woody & musk base, over a rich, floral heart of Iris, Rose and Lily. This for me is the perfect mix for Summer and when I first lit this candle the whole room smelt deliciously fresh.
What makes these candles so special, and the reason they are so luxurious, each one is hand poured using the highest grade of materials, with each one taking up to 36 hours to produce! The candles contain a high percentage of pure fragrance, and as they are made from natural waxes this ensures a slow and even burn and an awesome aroma dispersal.
Joy Melt Luxury Glass candle
This candle arrived in a cute little gift box, a simple but elegant black and white design. The candle itself is in a luxury glass jar, which is quite weighty and adds to the indulgent feel. On one side there is the Melt logo, and on the other, as you can see from the photograph above, is a pretty, intricate design.
You don’t even have to light these candles to experience the fine fragrance! My living room smells beautiful with this little candle just sat on the coffee table. When I did light this, my boyfriend walked past, and actually stopped in his tracks. He said, and I quote, “Ooh your posh candle is really nice isn’t it?”. For him to pass comment, trust me, meant this candle really is the bees knees.
You can burn this candle for up to 70 hours, which in my eyes, makes the retail price of £21 worth every penny.
I definitely will be buying more candles in the future from Melt, whether they be for myself or as the perfect treat for friends and family.
If you have tried Melt before, do let me know which fragrances you would recommend as I am dying to try more.
See you soon!
