FOTD: Summer is a’comin’

Helloooo 🙂
Today I woke up feeling very well slept, the sun was shining and you know what I thought, Newlove, you need to make an effort with your face today. So I did. Here I am sharing it with youu guys.
To prep my skin I used Arbonne Extra moisture SPF 20, I then used their eye cream, both products from the RE9 collection that I will be reviewing soon!
Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser in Bare Radiance was used for my base, along with M.A.C Studio Finish concealer in NC20. I then  used M.A.C Prep and Prime Highlighter in Rose underneath my eyes.  I applied a dusting of Rimmel Stay Matte powder down the centre of my face. Typically I used my M.A.C Brow pencil in Fling. Standard.
I whipped out my new KIKO Cosmetics bronzer and blusher, from their New Spring Collection (blog post to follow).
The bronzer I used is the shade Hilarious Honey, and the blusher I used is Bold Coral
For a change, I decided to play with some of my Urban Decay eye products. I applied their eye primer, followed by some shades from their “The Fun Palette“. I randomly found this in my room and totally forgot I had it, I will make sure to write a blog post on this too as the colours are perfect for Summer.
I used my Crownbrush UK brushes – IB Deluxe Crease and Blending Fluff – to apply the eyeshadows. (I blogged about these brushes here). I used Sin all over my lid and slightly above the crease. This shade is a gorgeous subtle peach/pink shade, a good neutral colour to use as a base. I then used a golden, coppery shade in the outer edge and along the crease, this shade is called Baked. In the corner I used a glittery white shade, that goes on quite transparent, Uzi. Using a bright turquoise blue shade, called Flipside, I lined underneath my bottom water line. I took the black eye liner includer in the set, one of the 24/7 Glide On pencils under my top waterline. I don’t really like wearing eye liner hence why this was the only place I put it.
I finished off with my staple Clinique High Impact Mascara (Shock) and a little bit of Vaseline on my lips.
It is quite a summery look! I felt more bronzed than usual which was nice. I cannot wait for Summer to get some colour to my skin.
See you soon guys!
