Playing with new Makeup.

Parcels. I came back to a hella lot of parcels on my return home from Ibiza. I lost count, but currently piled up in my office right now is a giant mountain of beauty products that all need photographing, testing and reviewing. I LOVE MY JOB. I thought I would start by testing out my favourite of all beauty products, the make-up. Remember the launch from Benefit Cosmetics, with all the new brow products? Yup. Still not had chance to play with those. The Estee Edit collection? Yeah, all of that is on my desk, and it is killing me not putting my fingers all up in there. So let’s get stuck in shall we?

Perricone MD No Lipgloss Gloss & Estee Edit Barest Contour So Bare Lip Liner : LIP COMBINATION OF DREAMS

Couple of new brands here that I had never before had chance to try. Glo & Ray kindly sent me a selection of products to play with, and one that really stood out was their blush. Here is the shade Pink, and it reminds me very slightly of Nars Orgasm. The finish is a touch more shimmery but the colour is lovely. I love the packaging too, you can’t go wrong with simple black and white. The eyeshadow quads and eyeshadow mousse are fab too. The price range sits just above drugstore prices and they have some great colours available.

Perricone MD. Shocking really that I had never tried anything from these guys before. I have only ever had a sample of the foundation, but as it was in a shade too dark for me (why are foundation samples always beige?) I never got to experience it. Nevertheless, I have fallen head over heels in love with two of the products. First up, the No Highlighter, Highlighter. THIS. Eurgh. It is so, SO good. So easy, so soft to apply. I fear some liquid highlighters look too obvious, but this, the balance of pearlescent and that natural healthy glow is just right. If you follow me on Snapchat (zoenewlove) then you will have seen recently the Perricone MD No Lipgloss Lipgloss paired with the Estee Edit The Barest Contour So Bare Lip Linerlip combination of dreams. The texture of the gloss is fab, it just glides on, no sticky business and the shade perfectly enhances your natural lip colour. I could wear this every day, all day long.

For those who prefer a powder highlight the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Highlighter in the shade Ballerina is just stunning. The other shades look delightful too, so cannot wait to add more to my collection. Anything that has the Cult Beauty seal of approval is good enough for me.

Admittedly, I still have not tried every single one of the new Benefit Cosmetics brow products. BUT. I have tried a couple, and they are as expected, every inch of awesome. Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil, an every day staple. I switch between shades Light and Medium depending on how strong a brow I am feeling. The spoolie is a life saver, you just cannot do your brows without using one of these. Those brow hairs need to be tamed god dammit. Not pictured here, because I already used it all up, the Precisely My Brow Eyebrow Pencil is probably my preferred pencil of choice from the collection – the name says it all. You can create really natural, but defined brows with tiny little hair marks, this pencil is a keeper. When I want more of a dramatic look then that is where the ka-BROW! Eyebrow cream comes in, very similar formula to ABH Brow Pomade, just cuter packaging.

Moving into Winter it is nice to play with new textures and colours fitting to this season, and I’ve loved trying the Kiko Cosmetic High Pigment Wet & Dry Eyeshadows. Number 12 Pearly Wine is beautiful and great for this time of year, I have been wearing this just as a wash of colour by itself.

Sadly, my Ibiza tan has faded and I am back to the former shadow of myself, a milk bottle. Thankfully I had the new Estee Edit’s Barest bronzer to save me. JUST LOOK AT HOW AMAZING THE PACKAGING IS. Just makes me want to rub my face all over it….

And that my friends is just a small handful of products I have in front of me, I am very much looking forward to putting together make-up tutorials and tings. Oh, and the good news is, because I am practically blogging full time now, I GOT NO MORE EXCUSES TO BE A RUBBISH BLOGGER. What do you want from me? Tell me what you are dying to learn, to try. All the love.
