The Autumn Lip Wardrobe Edit
Autumn is such a stunning season. Every morning as I walk to work I take in the surrounding burnt orange and crisp red tones swaying in the trees, as my boots crunch against the blankets of sleeping leaves along the path. Nature has such a huge influence on the beauty industry, and this is clear in today’s post as I have picked out a selection of the most perfect Autumnal toned lipsticks for you to browse through.
I love orange, it is such a bold, fiery colour that screams: Give me attention. Wrapped up under layers of jumpers, coats and scarfs sometimes it is easy to get lost amongst your clothes. Use your make-up to make a statement, I love Urban Decay Matte Lipsticks, especially Temper (I wear it in the first photo). Whenever I apply the Smashbox Cosmetics Fireball lipstick (review here) I get so many compliments and it really warms my skin tone as well as drawing out my eyes. Both of these formulas do not dry out my forever cracked lips, and do not budge!
Berry shades are so pretty, and look great with blue eyes. The purple and red under tones make your eyes instantly sparkle. An old favourite of mine, and one that is a true statement lippy, is my Tom Ford Black Orchid lipstick. A dark, mahogany brown that is there to stay. Illamasqua have a wide variety of shades, but I particularly love the shade Drench, if you are wanting a bold red lipstick, but with a pink undertone, then this one is for you.
