My Olympia Beauty Haul 2015 | Sigma, NYX Cosmetics & Inglot
This year I got to experience Olympia Beauty London with Crownbrush UK. As their Head of Make-up Artistry, I was invited along to work on the stand to answer all your make-up brush queries. We were super busy all day long, on both the Sunday and Monday – my feet hurt so much – but I did have chance to sneak away to pick up some treats for my kit.
So every make-up artist and beauty blogger under the sun raves about NYX Cosmetics. So I thought why not pick up a few little bits for my kit? I got myself some of the HD Concealers, two colour correcting ones and two fair shades. I say these are for my kit but no doubt I will end up stealing them for myself. I also picked up lots of lovely lip liners! My lip liners always go missing from my kit, god knows why, so I thought I would top it up with some of the most popular shades. I randomly picked up a loose pearl eye shadow in the shade Ultra White Pearl as well – usually I just use M.A.C Cosmetics for pigments but thought why not try out something new.
I had a wonder round and spotted a stand selling bits of Sigma – I have been dying to order one of their brush cleaning mats for ages now. I picked up the Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Mat and I have already used it – game changer right here. If you have what feels like a thousand brushes you need one of these in your life.
Inglot Cosmetics is yet another brand that I have never experimented with, and so I treated myself to one of their custom lip palettes. They have this thing called the Freedom System and you can use it for all kinds of make-up not just their lipsticks. You choose how many you want and what type and all of the shades. I decided to create a “matte” lip palette and chose a range of colours from light to dark, in a variety of red and pink tones, so that I can custom blend my own shades. I also bought a concealer from them for myself, as I am so bored of all the ones I am using to cover blemishes with at the moment. I am yet to try this out but when I have expect a review to follow.
Last but not least, I am determined to get into doing my nails. I rarely find the patience to do them, yet when I do, the difference it makes is ridiculous. I instantly feel “done”. It just looks smarter and more professional when you have your nails done. So I picked up some of the O.P.I Infinite Shine gel polishes as well as the Base and Top coat duo. These are fab shades for Autumn and I can highly recommend this as a wicked brand in terms of quality and finish.
Did any of you guys visit Olympia Beauty this year?

You picked up some lovely bits. I’ve also never tried anything from NYX but I’ve just recently discovered a stand near me so I’m dying to try a few things out. I absolutely love Inglot. I have been raving about their Freedom System eye shadows for ages over on my blog. It’s become almost an obsession – haha! I haven’t tried much else from their range though so I’ll be intrigued to see how you get on with the items you got.

I love the sigma cleaning mat! I find it very difficult to keep hold of with the thumb holes and mitt kind of thingy but once I get past that frustration It’s made the world of a difference to my brushes!!
