Annabelle’s Wigs | 3/4 Wig Hair Piece

Wavy 3/4 wig hairpiece extension (half wig) light brown: Georgia

Hello lovelies.

I would highly recommend drinking miracle grow. It works a ruddy treat.

If only…

Annabelle’s Wigs very kindly sent me a beautiful hair piece to experiment with. This Wavy 3/4 wig hairpiece extension in light brown, goes by the name of Georgia, and she landed on my desk on Friday. I actually could not wait to get home to try it on.
A few months ago, I had to sadly chop my hair off for the Loreal Colour Trophy, and I am painstakingly growing it back. I do love my new hair style, don’t get me wrong, but I have been longing for long, luscious hair for years now. The end goal seems so far away.
I know I could get hair extensions, but because I am so fickle, I would probably get bored of them after a week. This is why I like the idea of Annabelle’s Wigs, they offer everything from clip in hair extensions, 3/4 hairpiece to full head wigs, allowing you to change up your style with ease.
The hair piece I got sent to try out, has been inspired by Cheryl Cole’s amazing glamorous locks.  Full, thick layers, and gently tumbling waves creating drama and masses of volume. It is a long 27 inches, so a serious change from my current, natural state.

I was surprised at just how easy it was to put on, the hair is built around a lightweight netting cap, photographed above, with two large flexi combs attached to the top and bottom. These combs slides into your hair at the crown and nape of the neck, ensuring it is securely attached. Could you imagine the pure embarrassment if you were out wearing a hair piece, and it came off?

I braided my fringe out of the way, as I didn’t like the way it looked with the hair piece, so that is my natural hair that you can see at the front there.

When it comes to looking after the hair piece, it is important to store it well so that it does not become tangled, you can buy a wig stand or leave it in the netting it arrives in. You are advised to hand wash with shampoo and warm water and then rinse before applying fabric conditioner. Rinse once again and then pat dry with a towel. Allow to air dry completely before brushing, and it is recommended you use a detangling spray through the ends.

All I did was send a photograph off of my hair, and they came back with this fantastic match. I was really impressed and I am planning on wearing this hair piece on my next girl’s night out. That way, I can truly test its durability.
A few posts ago I discussed how make-up can create unreal transformations, but so can hair. I cannot believe how different I look with long hair. What do you guys think? Do you prefer me short or long?
Looking forward to hearing your feedback!!
