Photoshoot with Tia Lineker.

These photographs were taken by the genius that is Scott Ninness, check out the rest of his work at www.scottninness.com. I am very lucky to work with him, when he is over in the UK, as his make up artist. I am also the tea lady, lunch runner and every now and then (when he forces me to!!) I will take a cheeky photograph myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love taking photographs, but the second a professional asks me to step in and have a play, I get all squeamish like a little girl and want to hide. 

The above photographs are the results of our last shoot. The gorgeous girl in the images is the lovely Tia Lineker. She has the most beautiful face, doesn’t need a scrap of make up and has tonnes of confidence in front of a camera. Watch this space she is going to be one to keep an eye on in the world of modelling. 

So for the make up, Tia had a very strong idea of what she wanted for her photographs. Natural with a smokey eye for the first few sets, and then later on she wanted to wear a red lip. In my next blog post I will go into detail about the products used and application. Scott has captured a really fresh and edgy look in the top two images. I love the black and white photograph, particularly because you can still see the smokey eye behind the sunglasses, its very subtle, but very, very cool. Every time I look at the final image, the way I would describe it would be Hollywood Glam. The red lip. The ambient lighting. Red nails. I would love to work with Tia again and do an Audrey Hepburn-esque shoot with her. More emphasis on the eyebrows, a dark kohl pencil to enhance the eyes and a rosy blush.
