I get asked all the time to choose what my favourite make-up brand would be, and I can never narrow it down to just one. Kiko Cosmetics definitely falls into my top five however, that’s for sure. With so many amazing products to play with, that are great quality for not a lot of money, you can’t really go wrong with this brand. One of my most popular post’s, actually from when I first started blogging, happens to be this review of my very first Kiko Cosmetics haul in Mallorca. For those of you who are yet to dabble with the brand I thought I would put together a one stop shop, of my five favourite products. Enjoy.
I love these intense colour eye liners simply because they are extremely long lasting on the eyes, even if you have oily eye lids. They can be used just as an eyeliner, or what I like to do is fill the entire eye lid in and blend out with a soft fluffy brush, something like the Crownbrush C433 Pro Blending Fluff. You can create really quick and easy eye looks using these pencils. My favourite shades are Pearly Bronze and Metallic Violet – great for blue eyes!
Quite possibly still my favourite foundation, I reviewed it here, and I am still in love. It is super light yet gives great medium to buildable coverage. If you are going away this Summer and want a good coverage, yet light formula, this one is for you. I love the packaging too, with the little dropper.
I am not a huge fan of matte lipsticks, but these ones feel like they are giving your lips a hug and the selection of nude and pink hues are just too nice to not add to your lipstick collection. Long lasting and great pigment, these glide on beautifully. My go to daily shade at the moment is Beige Rose.
These blushers are amazing, they come in little silver compacts with a selection of three gorgeous shades which you can either blend together as one, or pick out individual colours to play with. The reason I love these, and why they are also a best seller from Kiko is because they are enriched with Vitamin E and Argon Oil, two ingredients which your skin will love. The powder feels so soft and blends into the skin like a dream.
You know you have found a great black gel liner when the dancers you work with request you not to use it anymore – simply because they cannot get it off! Obviously, you can get this eye liner off really easily with an oil based eye make-up remover. This eyeliner is leaves a super intense black finish and goes on SO easily and dries really quickly. I hate those gel liners that have a really transparent finish and leave lines in your crease.
So there you go, five of my favourite Kiko make-up pieces, what would you guys recommend? Is this kind of post something you would like to see more of?
