February Roundup + Mini Vlog & Big Announcement!!!!

Wow we are at the end of February already, tomorrow a new month begins. New goals to be set and new memories to be made. At the end of each month I have decided to stick to writing a reflections post of sorts. I really enjoyed looking back over January, and it makes you realise how much you do actually achieve in short bursts of time. Also, the majority of my content, I am always thinking about you, my reader, as without you reading my bloggy, I would no doubt lose momentum. So it is nice to actually write something, that is just for me so I can look back and reflect, (a bonus if you enjoy it also).

I also filmed a mini vlog of what I got up to last week as well as revealing some very exciting news – which I will do a separate blog post on soon! 

 

One of the most fun things I got to do in February was style and create this shoot for a Lancome Spring collection I had been kindly sent to review. I worked with my lovely friend Adam Robertson who was the photographer behind these images, and I had the best time. I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone, as I actually do not like being in front of the camera – hard to believe with all my posh selfies on here right? Modelling absolutely petrifies me and is the main reason why I am not a fashion blogger. I just feel ridiculous and I am incredibly stiff! I am hoping to work on my confidence this year and hoping to get in front of the camera more often!

Receiving an illustration of myself was pretty cool. I attended a Benefit Cosmetics event earlier on in the month, to learn all about the Bold Is Beautiful Project! Every year Benefit raise money for two charities by donating all the money made from getting your brows done throughout the month of May. You can get involved in a march on the 10th May to raise even more money for Look Good Feel Better and Refuge UK.
