Crystals in the last year or so have become quite important to me, and I use them on a daily basis. Whether I am doing yoga, an angel reading or I just feel like I need some healing, I reach for my crystals. I am quite spiritual, and I haven’t fully touched on this before on my blog.
If you don’t know much about crystals, then bare with me, as regardless of how you feel about them, Heart Apotherary Natural Crystal Infused products are just fabulous. A friend of mine told me about the range and how the products are infused with crystals and this immediately caught my attention. Hello Spiritual skincare.
“We are not Human Beings having a Spiritual experience,
we are Spiritual beings having a Human experience”
Ethical and holistic skincare is becoming more and more important to me, and I think a lot of people are waking up to the idea of using natural alternatives. These products have been created with love and simple, clean ingredients whilst being infused with healing Crystals and pure organic essential oils.
Ive been trying a few of their products for a while now and couldn’t wait to share them with you. First up my favourite of the selection, Calm Face Oil. As you all know, my skin is prone to blemishes and well, this oil really helps tackle this issue. And guess what, it simply contains just 3 ingredients. That’s it. Just 3 simple ingredients that work together wonderfully to help heal my skin.
Patchouli essential oil is anti fungal, anti bacterial and has anti septic properties, so of course this is great for acne or blemish prone skin. On a spiritual level it assists in releasing self judgement, and brings you a feeling of peace. Rose Quartz reduces inflammation and promotes kindess and self love. I have a rose quartz crystal that I keep beside my bed, so knowing that my skincare has been infused with this brings me great joy. Rose quartz opens the heart to promote deep inner heelings, love and friendship. Jojoba oil is extremely nourishing and moisturising, and has the ability to replicate sebum – thus tricking your skin into producing less oil.
This product can be used as a bath oil, a night cream, a deep cleanser or eye makeup remover and is also great to massage into the skin when you are pregnant, and is safe to use on new born babies.
The body whips are lovely…
I tried Soothe which smells incredible thanks to the combination of shea butter, coconut oil and frankincense. The crystal with this product is Black Tourmaline, and that is a crystal I have been wanting to add to my collection for a while now. This crystal protects you from negativity and acts as a protective shield, it is very grounding and balancing. So I think of this body cream as a protective blanket, not just a moisturiser. Comforting isn’t it?
As I write this post, I can see how little I already have left of my Relieve Rollerball. The rollerballs contain different oils depending on what your needs are, the Relieve rollerball has been a life saver for me as it is for aches and pains. I suffer from headaches and back pain, an awful lot, this is due to stress or the gym. So this rollerball has come in handy and I will be restocking it as soon as it runs out. They are only £10 each and I honestly could not recommend them enough.
What are your thoughts on crystals and skincare? If you have a minute, then take the time to read the full journey of this brand here. It is honestly heart warming. We should all take the time to support smaller businesses more often.
