Introducing NYASA London.
I have a fantastic relationship with skincare. It looks beautiful, smells great all day long, very low maintenance, doesn’t talk back to me, and is always on time, waiting for me to take it out for a spin every morning, and every evening. New skincare ruddy excites me, regardless of whether I actually NEED another serum in my life (I don’t, I have way too many) I still lose my sh*t when playing with a new one. NYASA London is the latest brand to enter my radar. I have been trialling their entire range, but the two products that really stand out to me are the Luminosity Illuminating Super Serum and the Metamorphosis Revitalising Beauty Oil.
A little bit about the brand, currently only available to buy via their website online (Stockists coming soon I believe), the founders, two lovely ladies, set upon formulating a brand that not only delivered high performance, natural skincare, but was also a joy to use. I love the three pillars that make up this brand’s message. Restore. Refuel and Recharge. They encourage you to thoroughly cleanse your skin whilst having a good night sleep, as well as stressing the importance of good nutrition and hydration. A little sunshine and daily exercise will recharge the skin.
All of their products are made with natural ingredients, one of their key ingredients being the Resurrection Plant. I had never before heard of this plant, so was keen to see what made this ingredient so special. This plant comes from the desert and is capable of withstanding serious periods of dehydration, I’m talking months, even years. It can withstand seriously harsh conditions. A pretty tough plant if you ask me. They have harnessed the nature of this plant and infused it into the skincare, so that it helps to hydrate, strengthen, tone and regenerate your skin.
They have a beautiful cleanser, a couple of moisturisers and an eye cream too, but today I want to talk to you about the serum and the oil.
Luminosity Illuminating Super Serum
Honestly, I am obsessed with this serum. It does everything I would want a serum to do. It brightens my skin, clarifies it, evens out my skin tone, smooths the appearance of fine lines. This is literally going to be my life saver whilst I am out in Ibiza as I am so paranoid about sun damage, pigmentation and my skin being dehydrated. This will keep it in fabulous condition. It contains AHA Fruit acids which gently exfoliate your skin, getting rid of all those dead skin cells and encouraging, new, radiant skin. It tingles ever so slightly, but this shows just how concentrate the ingredients are, and shows that it is actually doing something to your skin.
Metamorphosis Revitalising Beauty Oil
This facial oil is gorgeous, and feels so silky and light on the skin. You only need a couple of drops, a little goes a long way. I mainly use this of an evening, but when my skin is feeling on the drier side I will switch it into my morning routine underneath my SPF. It really does remind me of Nude Progenius Treatment oil, which is one of my favourite facial oils of all time. Packed full of essential oils, it smells beautiful and as with all the Nyasa products, the active ingredients really do give you great results. I am so in love with this brand, I cannot get enough of it.
