Red Lips with MAKE UP FOR EVER.
The Red Lip. In my eyes, every one MUST, at least once, rock a red lip. I used to be so scared of wearing colour, but the second you step over to the bold side, there is no going back. Out there somewhere is your perfect red, but in today’s post, I thought I would share with you my current favourite combination, and all of the products happen to be from MAKE UP FOR EVER. This brand I can rely on for producing great quality make-up that is long lasting and looks beautiful.
LINER
For the first step of any lip look I always begin with a liner. I absolutely adore the Aqua Lip Waterproof Lip Liner formula, it is just the right texture so that it glides along your lips without dragging. This is super long lasting with it being water and saliva resistant – and I am a drooler (I joke). There are some fabulous shades available, here I am wearing Orange Red.
LIPSTICK
Of course, the next step is the lipstick, the star of the show. Rouge Artist Intense is a highly pigmented formula, you get so much colour. KAPOW. They feel really, really soft and do not dry out my lips one bit. In fact, they do a marvellous job of hiding just how chapped my lips really are. The shade I am wearing is Moulin Rouge, what an awesome name? It leaves a creamy, satin finish rather than matte and looks great on it’s own as well – it is actually a blue toned lipstick, but here looks more coral due to the lip liner and the gloss on top.
GLOSS
To finish the lips I will apply Artist Plexi Gloss in Orange Red. If you have not tried the Artist Plexi formulas I cannot stress to you enough how ace they are. If you want a full coverage, full colour and super glossy lip then these are for you. No messing about, these have the most amazing colour pay off, and they are not at all sticky. I love the doe foot applicator too.
So there you go, a super red lip, easy to do with MAKE UP FOR EVER. And nope, I was not paid to write this post, I just freakin’ love this brand and will always use these in my personal make-up bag and professional make-up kit.
P.S Watch out this evening for another post, I am launching my Photography series. All of you who want to know how I take my photos, to editing, to lighting, to set ups etc. Just wait and see and all will be revealed.

They look like such gorgeous shades of red! I’ve never really been scared of a red lip – I used to have to wear it when I was a teenager in dance shows and I think that’s what really started off my love for red lips! haha.
I swear by Mac russian red for my pout though! xx
The Little Blog of Beauty
I started wearing lipstick around the time that I first started blogging (so around 3 years ago) but I was never a red fan. Something changed last, I’m not sure why, and now I appear to be gathering all the red shades! I personally prefer a matte finish in red though or it feels a little too much for me x
