Make-up | bareMinerals Work, Weekend, Wow Eyeshadow™ Palette
Ahhh I am SO excited to share this post with you guys. I believe I am the very first UK blogger to get my hands on this brand new bareMinerals Work, Weekend, Wow Eyeshadow palette*. How crazy is that? So proud to have an “exclusive” on my blog.
Last night I was generously invited down to London, to collaborate with bareMinerals UK in conjunction with the launch of their new make-up palette – which came out yesterday in Selfridges and will be available online from today.
So what went down?
The bloomin’ beautiful International Make-up Artist Sarah Jane Froom and her blue eyed assistant Ioannis Baptiste helped me put together an exclusive video demonstrating just how you can use this palette. This video will go live on my YouTube channel this weekend (I know, about time I uploaded one) so make sure you have subscribed.
Having played around with all three looks, Work, Weekend and Wow, I can safely say that this is one of the most versatile and easy to use palettes I have come across. The key to this palette: you can build upon each look, working towards the most glam of them all, Wow. You don’t have to remove each eye make-up look, making it so simple to take it from day to night. Not sure what I mean, make sure you watch the video to see SJ put it into action.
The shadows themselves are silky soft and are formulated to be long wearing. SJ used a fluffy blending brush to apply the majority of the eyeshadows, and they were all really easy to blend and the pigment of each shade is just fabulous. I particularly love 500 Thread Count, the biggest and lightest of all, as you can use it as a base or just to highlight your brow bone. With a mix of classic neutrals, soft plums and smokey blue hues you have all you need in one place, making it so convenient when on the go.
I also learnt that the eyeshadows themselves have skin nourishing benefits, specially made with their SeaNutritive mineral complex, antioxidants, and cucumber ingredients. This may not make a difference to you, but it is comforting to know what I am putting on my eyes actually benefits my skin for once.
So there we go, an insight to the brand new eyeshadow palette from bareMinerals. This will be limited edition and will retail at £30. As soon as the video is live and on my channel, I will of course up date this post with a direct link for you guys.
