Zoe Newlove Current Skincare Routine including Antipodes, Jurlique, One Love Organics and L'OccitaneZoe Newlove Current Skincare Routine including Antipodes, Jurlique, One Love Organics and L'Occitane
Being a beauty blogger, you would assume I find it hard keeping to a regular skincare routine, with the same products, over a long period of time, no? I do trial and test products very, very often, however, even with my over flowing basket of products to try out, I find myself continuously going back to my favourite, trusted brands. With this being said, I have naturally been sticking to the same routine for the past couple of weeks, and it is making both me and my skin, really, really happy. Let’s delve a little deeper.
For my morning time cleanse I have been using L’Occitane Cleansing Oil, like the tiniest amount. My skin has been dehydrated more so than ever, so I find using a heavier cleanser, one that is an oil, is helping to keep my moisture barrier in tact. I will then spritz my skin with my forever loved Jurlique Rose Balancing Mist. I think this may be my 6th bottle? I just cannot get enough of this toner. Eye cream is next, and I lean to Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair as it has an added SPF10. A brand I go on and on and on about, Antipodes, have the most beautiful serum: Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum. I use this day and night and my god if I could swim in it, I most certainly would. If I don’t use this serum, I will turn to the Jurlique Moisture Plus Daily Moisture Balancing Serum which feels and smells delightful. Ditching my usual Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser, I have been playing around with facial oils, again both day and night. Indie Lee is an incredible new organic brand that I have been getting to know and their Squalane Facial Oil is an absolute treat, full review coming soon.
Of an evening, I always double cleanse. I usually use a micellar water to remove everything in my first step, but as the L’Occitane cleansing oil is on my bathroom shelf at the moment, and so easy to use, I use this first. I then take my Nude Skincare Omega Cleansing Jelly as a second step. I love how this turns to milk and completely nourishes my skin whilst removing any last scrap of make-up. I like to use this with a muslin cloth from Liz Earle. I also change up my toner of an evening and have been loving the Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner. It makes my skin feel really refreshed and knowing it helps reduce wrinkles is a bonus. I will use one of the serums I mentioned in my AM section of this routine, before applying the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream. This is heavier than what I would usually reach for, but it feels so hydrating, like a hug for the face.
Twice a week I have been using One Love Organics Brand New Day Microderma Scrub not just as an exfoliator, but as a mask as well. I like to mix it with a little greek yoghurt or honey. My skin feels *go on stroke my face* soft.  As a treat I have also been using the Liz Earle Eye Bright Soothing Eye Lotion. This stuff is just, wow. For someone who suffers from tired eyes and the worst hayfever, this lotion has been a god send. I love taking my make-up off when I get home from work and just wiping a cotton pad of this lotion over my eyes.
So that is my current skincare routine. Where I can I try to use natural and even organic skincare, as I just prefer these kinds of products. I feel I need to incorporate more acids into my routine, whether that be with a glycolic cleanser or a serum with lactic acid in. I am really happy otherwise, and these things I can switch in when I feel like it.
What makes your skin happy?
