Two posts in one day? I know, very unlike me. I am so behind with my blogging schedule though, I am doing my best to double up on posts this week. I had a lovely inflamed stomach and as a result I have just felt too poorly and too tired to put anything together. With this over, and finally feeling well again, let’s get this show on the road.
I probably am like the last blogger in the universe to review the Latest In Beauty Glamour Summer Edit*, nevertheless, it is pretty fine and dandy, so I could not just let my thoughts gather dust and go unnoticed.
Packed with exciting Summer essentials, I can see why this box is much loved. Personally, a huge fan of Alessandra Steinherr, Beauty Director for Glamour, I never doubted this box to disappoint. You get £117 worth for a box that you spend £17.99 – how crazy is that??!
Onto the goodies themselves, what stood out to me was the Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals. Firstly, the kabuki brush is ridiculously soft, I just want to sit and stroke my face with it. More exciting however, is the fact this is the first ever self tanning bronzer! I am not entirely sure how this works, especially as I wash my face every single day and always use an exfoliating toner, but it is meant to develop a tan that will last over 5 days. Either way, the bronzer is pretty neat.
A product that I have been curious to try and was so happy to see it in the box, the Pixi Glow Tonic! I always see Caroline Hirons talk about this and it is in her Top 10 Acid Toners list too. I have none left and now need to buy a full size bottle. Enough said.
Travel shampoo and conditioner is a must have me, as I am always on the go, so the L’Occitane set will come in handy. I also am a huge lover of the Caudalie Divine Oil – a fantastic multi use oil that smells, well, divine.
Seekers of the Sun tattoos, an exfoliator, a lip pencil and some suncream also appeared in the box, all summer staples and all from brands that I respect and love.
Did you get your hands on The Glamour Summer Edit ? What are you Summer essentials?

    • Zoe Newlove

Yeah they totally do! P.S Did you find out about the microbead thaaang lovely? xxx

      • I cannot be 100% sure but from what I have read online I think the ingredient name for microbeads is ‘Polyethylene (PE)’, of which I can’t see that listed on the charcoal scrub. Anything with polyethylene is a red flag from what I understand as that stands for plastic pretty much. I may be wrong but I think the scrub particles are the apricot seed shells perhaps xx

  • Poor you feeling ill – I hope you get better soon!! Sophie xxx
