Three To Try | Lush Bathbombs

Lush Cosmetics, oh you are so wonderful. If I ever won the lottery, I would definitely spend a day buying pretty much everything in the store. I get lost in there for hours. On Instagram I recently posted a photo of The Art of Bathing gift set, my boyfriend bought this for me as a little treat. I was made up. Inside this box are some absolute gems, but I thought I would pick out three of my favourites to share with you today.
First up is Dragons Egg, this smells awesome and reminds me of lemon sherbet. Lemon sherbet is a real nostalgic smell for me, as it reminds me of my Dad. He always had a packet in his car. On popping it into the bath tub you see it fizz and crackle, then watch the water turn hues of lemon and gold. If you have time for a bath in the morning, I would recommend this one as it just makes you feel so invigorated. I love the name of this one too, I am a secret lover of all things adventure related, so dragons, mermaids, hobbits, I am gonna be all over it.

This bathbomb was one of the first to catch my eye, the love heart shape is gorgeous, studded with seven real rosebuds – too pretty to use! For this exact reason, I haven’t actually used this one yet, I do not want to part with it. It has been created with rose, lemon, geranium and jasmine, so you can only imagine how divine your bath tub will smell. Apparently Tisty Tosty was based on a medieval love potion, and rose oil is used by aromatherapists to lift your spirits – great for those with a broken heart.

The third of this trio of bath bomb loveliness, is Granny Takes A Dip. When I posted the aforementioned photo of the Art of Bathing on my Instagram, I asked which one was your favourite. This one won hands down. Packed with ginger, pepper and lemon this bath bomb creates crazy psychedelic colours in the bath! It is awesome to watch, and of course this smells great too. I felt really warm and fuzzy inside, not just because of the heat of the bath, but just because the smell makes you feel that way. I will definitely be buying more of this particular one.

I was quite disappointed with Dragons Egg funnily enough! I absolutely love that sherbet lemon smell but it took agessssss to fizz and in the end I had to break it all up (15 minutes later), maybe I picked up a bad one? I have so say Avobath is my favourite! It shares that lemon grass / sherbert lemon smell and its sooo uplifting and really helps relieve any cold/flu symptoms one might have around this time of year! Happy New Year Zoe! x

I’ve heard great things about all of these! I’m having a moment with their bubble bars though and haven’t been gravitating towards their bath bombs so much. I have Candy Mountain ready to try next ๐Ÿ™‚ xx

  • Tisty Tosty is one of my go-to bath bombs from lush! I’ve always loved the simplicity of Butterball (cheap, and leaves my skin so, so soft) and I am planning on trying Avobath this week. You can’t go wrong with Lush! The others sound lovely so I may have to try those too ๐Ÿ™‚
