Mythical Creatures Bodypainting Project | Make-up Artistry
It has been an awfully long time since I shared any of my make-up artistry on this blog, which is sad really, considering the whole purpose of this little space on the web, was to share my work as a make-up artist. Hopefully, you will be seeing lots more of my work in the near future, as I am beginning a new series which will very much focus on what I get up to make-up work wise. Let me know if this is actually something you would like to see more of, if it isn’t, tell me to slow down on the series steam machine.
As you may or may not know, I am Head of Make-up Artistry for Crownbrush UK. Part of my job allows me to collaborate on exciting projects, such as this one created by talented body painter Anna Lingis: The Mythical Creatures Project. I urge you to check out Anna’s work over on Instagram. This girl is ridiculously talented and she inspires me daily, as well as being an absolute sweetheart to work with.
The first in this awesome series is the Mythical Dragon. We spent a good afternoon and a half putting this together. It all started from a drawing Anna had sketched out and soon with the help of Crownbrush make-up brushes, The Face Painting Shop paints and an airbrushing system, it all came together amazingly. This would not have been possible of course, without the gorgeous model, Hayley Sams. Hayley also created the nails, as she is a fabulous nail technician. Little finishing touches such as these tie the entire look together.
