A beauty blogger reviews various products from organic skincare brand Melvita
Melvita are such a lovely brand. I have reviewed a few of their products and am yet to be disappointed by them. Everything from their packaging, to their natural formulas and organic ethics, they are ruddy brilliant.
This brand was born from one man’s  love of beekeeping and their vital role in nature. This man’s name is Bernard. Bernard and his wife wanted to create organic beauty products without harsh chemicals. This means no parabens, formaldehyde, silicons or synthetic preservatives. They were one of the first brands to receive an ECOCERT certificate for Organic products in 2002. With green skincare being very important to me, Melvita ticks all the boxes. Today I thought I would introduce you to a few favourites of mine.
This smells delightful and makes my showering experience feel that little bit more luxurious. Made up of five unusual and precious organic oils, combined with the unique L’OR bio scent, you feel like you are washing yourself with a little slice of heaven. The scent very much reminds me of Nars Body Oil, which is unfortunately rather expensive. Luckily, this shower gel is not at all expensive, and is rather purse friendly. The five oils have been sourced from all over the world, such as Morocco, Indonesia and Brazil, including Argan, Incha Inchi and Kendi Oil. The gel pours out with ease and a little goes a long way. My skin always feels and smells wonderful after using this.
Layer this on your skin after washing with the shower gel, as this will fully lock in the fragrance, guaranteeing your body to smell delicious all day long. The fragrance was inspired by 5 wonders of nature, taking a combination of natural notes including Italian Bergamot, White Jasmine, Fig tree leaf, Tiare Flower and Virginian Cedar. I absolutely adore this scent. It reminds me of holidays and makes me feel like I am spritzing a little bit of nature onto my skin. The white flowers give it that light floral scent, but the cedar, vanilla and benzoin give it that earthy, wood texture too.
I literally have an addiction to serums. My bathroom shelf is covered in them, and this one from Melvita is a firm favourite. Enriched with a patented bud complex and a naturally derived hyaluronic acid, this gel like water is designed to smooth and firm. Prepping your skin perfectly for anything to be layerd on top, be it your favourite moisturiser or facial oil. My skin always feels plump and soft after applying this. P.S You need a teeny tiny amount, don’t go crazy.
I go through hand cream like I do socks. I can never find it, but I always need it. I keep one on my desk and one in my hand bag. This one is currently on my desk. It is bigger than my average hand bag hand cream, and in plain sight, so I cannot lose it. Key ingredient argan oil nourishes and hydrates the skin, as well as being enriched with repairing shea butter, sunflower oil and protective beeswax. I love the feel of this hand cream and how it sinks into your skin immediately. I am going to pop some on right now, my hands could do with some TLC.
As I will be turning 26 this year, eek, I have started to add more anti aging products into my skincare routine. Last year was all about hydration and combating blemishes, this year will be all about those fine lines and wrinkles. This facial oil feels incredibly lightweight, which I love, and promises to reduce and smooth wrinkles, whilst firming the skin, yet ensuring it is left supple and comfortable. I absolutely adore the scent in this oil, and the fact it does not leave a greasy texture. Really impressed after only using this for the past week or so, my skin definitely looks more defined.
The latest launch from Melvita, another hand bag staple. My lips are the driest known to man and resemble that of a shriveled up prune. Rich in argan oil, this lip balm promises to fight dehydration and improve barrier function. I have only been using this for the past week or so, but I shall let you know how I get on with it. Initial thoughts, it feels lovely and tastes nice too.
Have you tried Melvita yet?
*These products are PR samples, but all of these opinions are genuinely honest and all of my own.

I have a mini Melvita body lotion that I need to use up, but I’d love to try some of their facial skincare. The scent of the Eau de Toilette sounds gorgeous too xx
