Every so often I try out new skincare, it’s what us beauty bloggers do. We are addicted to trying out the next best thing in the hope that it will give us that perfect, radiant, blemish free skin. Well, I am certainly addicted, borderline obsessed, that is for sure. Thanks to using La Roche Posay not so long ago my skin finally cleared up, I wrote about their three step system here. A system I will always love and praise. Without blemishes to worry about and my skin no longer oily, I really needed something else to give my skin what it needed: Hydration.
Recently, I was reintroduced to Jurlique. A natural skincare brand that I once worked with during my years at SpaceNK. Switching over to this brand has done wonders for my skin. Literally, this has been the best move I have made in 2014.  For the last week I have been to work wearing absolutely zero foundation. I have never before been able to go an entire week bare faced before, not just because of blemishes but because my skin usually looks dull and tired by day three. So what have I been using?

I will begin my day with the Rose Moisture Plus Cleanser* which is so creamy and light on the skin. I never thought I would use a moisturising cleanser on my skin, but I trusted Claire, my Jurlique Skincare Consultant, and she explained that this is what my dehydrated skin needed. It hasn’t made my skin oily as feared, in fact, it is in the best condition yet. Once I have washed my face, I then spritz the Rosewater Balancing Mist* over my face before pressing it into the skin. I carry a little bottle of this with me everywhere I go, it smells divine and makes my skin look lush.

Next is the serum of dreams: Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum* with natural radiance. For so long I have skipped the serum step, fearing it was too much on my skin, so reintroducing one into my daily routine took a leap of faith. I love the pearlescent, water like formula which absorbs straight into my skin. Some days I can just wear this alone and that is enough, but on the days I feel I need a little more oomph, I then add my favourite product of the bunch, the Rose Moisture Plus Revitalising Gel Lotion*. This stuff is just totally awesome. It again feels as light as water, and smells delish. I love love love the rose fragance, maybe a little too much, but oh well. This gives my skin THE PERFECT zap of hydration and provides the perfect base for my foundation to go on top of. I cannot imagine using any other moisturiser now. Every time I open it, I question if I have even used it all, it just does not seem to go down, a little truly goes a long way.

For those of you with dehydrated skin I could not recommend the Rose range enough, it is genuinely and utterly amazing. And for those, who also suffer with the odd breakout, just like me, then have no fear. Jurlique Purifying Mask* is the last step in my routine, something I use once a week to keep on top of oily t zone and any build up of impurities.

I often rant on about how I fall in love with a skincare brand, but if I had to pick a number one, Jurlique would win hands down. The packaging, the formulas, the fragrance, the ingredients, the team, the value for money…. there are so many reasons why I fallen in love with this brand and I just know you guys will to.

*PR SAMPLES – I have not been paid to write about this brand, I genuinely love these products that much and if you don’t believe me, come and stroke my silky soft skin….
