Another day, another model | Hollie Sparrow Make-up Look

Hi.
If you follow me on Instagram (zoenewlove) or Twitter (@zonewlove) then you will have seen me post this gorgeous face already. I have had the pleasure of working with Hollie Sparrow from Mode Models today. I really liked this look so thought I would share it with you guys in case you wanted to recreate it yourselves.

The main brushes I used on this shoot were:
Crownbrush UK Infinity Collection:
Small Round Buffer
Angle Blush
Flat Foundation Brush
Round blender
M.A.C Cosmetics:
217 Blending brush
Laura Mercier:
Fan Powder Brush
Finishing Eye Brush
Shu Uemura
75EX Fan Shaped Goat Brush
Illamasqua
Foundation brush
Eye shadow brush
Angle Liner
Eyebrow brush

For the base I used my Arbonne Make-up Primer, followed by Illamasqua Skin Base in 06. I had totally forgotten just how nice the Skin Base foundation was so thoroughly enjoyed using it today for a change. It creates a really flawless semi-matte finish. It is buildable too so you can go back in with it as a concealer. Luckily Hollie had great skin so hardly any concealing was needed. I set the base with Illamasqua Loose Setting powder.

My Canvas…
For the eyebrows I used a mixture of M.A.C Brow pencil in Lingering and a light brown shade from my Crownbrush UK Brow palette. Hollie said she wanted her eyebrows really defined so I was more than happy to do so. I love strong brows!
For the eye make-up, I used a selection of colours from my Crownbrush UK Smoke It Out Palette. I chose a light neutral for the base over the top of my Nars Eyeshadow Primer. I then chose a taupe/brown colour for the outer corner blending up into the crease. Blending along and above the crease is a red/brown shade. The red flecks through the brown eye shadow really made Hollie’s sparkling blue eyes pop.
I lined inside the eyes and across the top lash line with Maybelline Eye Drama Gel Liner and MUA Cosmetics pencil in Black. The false eyelashes are Cheryl Eylure lashes with a coating of Kiko Cosmetics Tech Curve Mascara in black.
To contour…
I used my trusty Illamasqua Cream blusher in Zygomatic followed by Sun Kissed Large Bronzer. I then popped on the tops of her cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose and then the brow bone ,some of M.A.C Cosmetics Cream Colour base in Shell for a highlight. Right in the inner corner of the eyes I decided to add some M.A.C Cosmetics Pigment, not sure which shade as it came in a limited edition set a while ago, but it is a neutral sparkley colour.

For the lips I used a lip pencil from Laura Mercier in the shade Baby lips followed by M.A.C Dazzleglass.
I curled Hollie’s hair using my TIGI Curling wand and then brushed it out into soft waves using a paddle brush. I added a lot of root booster to give much needed volume. Hollie’s hair is really thick, and all of it is her own – a nice change from dealing with extensions. I had serious hair envy, I would love to have long blonde hair like this.

There you have it, the finished look. I hope you found this post helpful!

See you soon
